During your Discovery Consultation, you'll discuss what brought you here and therapy goals with your Client Advisor. This information helps us match you with therapists from our network who are specifically suited to your needs.

A Client Advisor is your dedicated guide throughout your mental health journey with Virsentio. They conduct your initial Discovery Consultation, match you with vetted therapists who specialize in men's mental health, and provide ongoing support so you can start feeling like yourself soon.

Your Client Advisor understands the unique challenges men face when seeking help and respects where you come from as a man.

Your Client Advisor will call you at your scheduled Discovery Consultation time. During this 45-minute conversation, you'll share information about yourself, why you’re here, and your therapy goals, plus any preferences like virtual or in-person sessions.

Your Client Advisor will ask structured questions and listen carefully to understand your needs—this helps them curate personalized therapist options for you. They'll also answer any questions you have. Note that Client Advisors don't provide therapy; they focus on connecting you with the right therapist.

The “Foundations Program” is a 4-month program and begins with your Discovery Consultation. After the 4-month program is finished, clients have the opportunity to extend their relationship with their Client Advisor on a month-to-month basis.

You will meet with your Client Advisor on a set cadence. Typically, for clients that see their therapist once a week, you will meet with your Client Advisor prior to your first appointment and twice more during that first month.

Following the first month, you will meet with your Client Advisor monthly for the subsequent 3 months through the end of the 4-month Program.

Yes. Virsentio holds your privacy in the highest regard. The information you share with us is encrypted and securely stored. To help connect you to a therapist who is right for you, your Client Advisor may need to consult internally with another member of the Virsentio team, but nothing you share with us is disclosed to anyone outside of Virsentio without your permission. For example, if you would like us to help schedule your first appointment with a therapist, we will disclose any information needed for scheduling purposes.

There is one exception to our strict privacy policy. If one of our clients experiences a life-threatening emergency, we may need to share some of their personal information to help get them connected to immediate support.

No, Virsentio does not provide therapy or medical l treatment of any kind. We help men connect to and make the most of therapy.

No, Virsentio does not provide emergency mental health services. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital emergency room. For free 24/7 support, the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline can be reached by calling 988.

Yes, you will pay for Virsentio’s services and therapy separately, as these are distinct services. (The therapists in Virsentio’s provider network are not Virsentio employees.)

Many of our therapists accept insurance, and many are self-pay. Insurance is a preference, and we'll do our best to connect you with a therapist that's within your health insurance plan. There are self-pay and out-of-network options as well.

Yes. Virsentio is headquartered in Chicago, with an extensive provider network in the Chicagoland area. We also work with providers across the country, many of whom are members of interstate licensing compacts like PSYPACT, which allows them to see clients in multiple states.
