Meet the founder

I gave up on finding a therapist for 18 months

I'm a regular guy with a career, a family, and the pressure that comes with both. I knew almost nothing about the mental health world, so when I went looking for a therapist, I had no idea where to start.

I reached out to more than 10 people without knowing what I needed, or if I was even reaching out to the right people. Eventually I gave up, and it was 18 months before I tried again.

When I did, I found a therapist who changed my life. I built Virsentio so you don't have to go through what I did, and so you can find someone you actually want to work with.

Virsentio comes from two Latin words: vir, a man of courage, and sentio, to feel. Together, "a brave man feels."
