Questions therapists ask
How do you decide who to refer to me?
A man fills out our 5–7 minute questionnaire. We review it against the specialty, approach and availability of therapists in our network, then recommend 2 or 3 with a reason for each. He picks who he wants to work with.
How often will I get referrals?
It depends on your availability, specialty and how many men are reaching out in your area. We’ll talk through what to expect when you join.
What’s the vetting process?
Our provider questionnaire, a call with our founder, and license and credential verification. We look at your experience working with men and your approach.
What does it cost?
Joining will be a paid monthly membership. We’ll share pricing with the waitlist before we open.
How do I let you know my availability?
We check in periodically about your openings. Before we recommend you to anyone, we confirm you have room.
Is Virsentio a mental health provider?
No. We connect men with independent therapists. We don’t employ therapists or provide therapy or emergency services.
How do you handle insurance?
If a man wants to use insurance, we factor in which plans you take.
Will you be in touch with me about my client?
Only with his written consent. Your client is yours.
What if a referral isn’t a fit for me?
Let us know and we’ll help him find someone else.
